Ricoh has introduced a second printer with gel technology. The GelSprinter Aficio GX e5550N is available immediately for a suggested retail price of 475 euros available.
The A4 model provides a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. Ricoh is recommended for an average monthly volume of 1,500 pages, but no 3300 pages. The maximum printing speed is 30 pages in duplex printing between 10 (color) and 13 pages (black).
The GelSprinter processed paper weights up to 255 grams per square meter and sizes from A6 to A4. The maximum paper capacity is 1,350 sheets, the default tray holds only 250 sheets.
